AI Hub Privacy Policy

1. App and operator

hamsoft provides AI Hub, an Android app (package: jp.hamsoft.aihub) that lets you share text, images and files with external AI apps and search or reuse a sharing history stored on your device. AI Hub is not an official ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude app.

2. Information stored on your device

To support sharing, history, search and reuse, AI Hub saves your text, creation and update times, and attachment names, file types and internal references in its private database (aihub.db) when you initiate sharing. When the destination app launches successfully, AI Hub records the destination and action time. This does not confirm that the service received or processed the content. Text and attachment records saved before a failed launch may remain.

Images and files that you select or receive from another app are copied into private internal app storage (files/attachments). Photos taken through an external camera app are also saved there. Copies may remain even if you do not share them. AI Hub imports content you select, capture or share with it; it does not automatically collect your entire photo or file library.

3. Sharing with AI apps and image metadata

When you choose to share, AI Hub passes text and attachments to the selected ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude Android app using Android sharing, with temporary read access to attachments. It checks locally whether the destination app is installed and can handle sharing.

AI Hub does not recompress images or remove EXIF or other metadata when copying attachments. Capture times, location or other metadata in the original image may remain in the image sent to the destination. Image previews use orientation metadata.

Once shared, the recipient provider’s privacy policy and terms govern its use, retention and deletion of the data. AI Hub does not control those services’ retention periods or deletion processes.

4. Clipboard

When sharing text together with image-only attachments to Gemini or Claude, AI Hub copies the text to the Android clipboard so you can paste it into the destination app. AI Hub does not automatically clear the clipboard. Clipboard handling also depends on Android and features or settings of your keyboard and other software. Use your device or keyboard controls to clear clipboard history when needed.

5. Advertising and consent

AI Hub displays Google AdMob banner ads using the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Google states that the SDK collects and shares IP addresses (which may indicate approximate location), app interactions, diagnostics, advertising IDs, app set IDs and applicable account-related identifiers for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. SDK data is encrypted in transit using TLS. Processing varies with consent, ad configuration and available identifiers. AI Hub does not add your text or attachments to ad requests.

AI Hub uses Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to update consent information and show a consent form when required. It requests ads when the SDK indicates that ads can be requested. When required, an “Ad privacy settings” option lets you revisit your choices. Forms vary by region and circumstances. Supported Android devices also offer controls to reset or delete the advertising ID.

We follow Google’s restrictions on app set IDs, including the prohibitions on using them for personalized ads or ad measurement, or combining them with other identifiers or personal data for advertising. AI Hub’s own code does not retrieve or combine advertising IDs or app set IDs.

6. Servers and diagnostic logs

AI Hub has no custom backend that receives your text, attachments or sharing history, and implements no direct AI API calls or cloud sync. Advertising and consent SDKs, external AI services and pages opened in your browser do use network connections.

For troubleshooting sharing, AI Hub writes the destination, action time, sharing format, attachment count, launch outcome and exception type to local device diagnostic logs. It does not log the text, file contents or raw attachment URIs, or send these logs to a custom server. Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics are not integrated. This is separate from the advertising SDK’s own analytics and diagnostics.

7. Retention and deletion

AI Hub does not automatically expire saved text, attachment copies or sharing history. These remain until you clear app storage/data through Android Settings → AI Hub app info → Storage (wording varies by device), or remove app data through a normal uninstall.

Clearing the input or removing an attachment from the current selection does not delete saved history or internal attachment copies. There is no individual history deletion feature. Retention of device diagnostic logs is managed by the operating system and related components.

Clearing app data does not delete original photos or files, clipboard content, or data held by external AI services or Google. Consult each provider’s guidance for its retention periods and deletion options.

8. Backups

AI Hub disables Android app backup and excludes internal files, databases, preferences and related app storage in its backup and device-transfer rules. AI Hub does not provide its own cloud backup or restore feature.

9. Age considerations

This policy describes data handling; it does not declare a particular target age group or that the app is directed at children. External AI services have their own age requirements and terms.

10. Third-party services and this website

Google advertising and consent services, and the external AI services you share with, have their own policies. Relevant links are listed below.

We may update this policy as the app or services change. The revised policy and update date will be posted on this page.
